What is the difference between playgroup and nursery?
Playgroup (Pre-Nursery) is for 1.8 to 2.5-year-olds and focuses on settling in, the senses and routines. Nursery builds on this with more language, early concepts like sorting and counting, and longer activity time.

Can my child join Nursery without attending Playgroup?
Yes. Our teachers help new children settle in with a gentle routine in the first few weeks.

How is my child assessed in Nursery?
There are no exams. Teachers track each child's growth through observation and share updates with parents on the Alphakids parent app.
